Call for Radio Applications
Wow, Wow, Wow!!! Today is such a special day as we have just heard that the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) has just sent out a call for applications for the provision of Radio Broadcasting Services.
What does that mean? Well, it means that they are inviting people to apply for the ability to set up a new or expand and existing FM radio station. More than that, IKELENGE is on the list to receive ONE new license!

This is something that we have been waiting for and are super excited to see such an opportunity arise…
However, there is a lot of work ahead of us. The application is a detailed report to which must be attached an extensive business plan, programming schedule and many other important documents. The deadline for the application is 14th July 2025 at 10:00 hours so one of us will need to take a trip down to Lusaka before that date and hand it in personally.
