The Story Behind Chejeji FM

Who is Chejeji FM and what is our purpose?

Well, the word “Chejeji” is the Lunda word for “Light”, this makes clear two things. First of all we are a radio station based among and focused on the Lunda people. Secondly, and most importantly, our purpose is to shine the light of God to our people; in other words, to be an open sharing of God’s Word through the broadcasting of the gospel, music entertainment and discussions of Christian Living in Ikelenge District of North-Western Province, Zambia and to those from here who have found themselves elsewhere.

Chejeji FM is slowly growing, as we seek to follow the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16. Though we have no presence on the ground yet in Ikelenge, we are pleased to say that we have an online radio station which is all ready broadcasting to those who are interested.
